Even though we see a lot of pediatric and prenatal patients we LOVE seeing the average adult! So many people come to us for issues that include but aren’t limited to headaches, sinuses, migraines, thyroid problems, vertigo, high blood pressure, reflux, asthma, IBS, constipation, diarrhea, infertility, menstrual problems, ED, prostate issues.
How much will it cost?
Every person and case is different, it is difficult to be sure how much it will cost before the doctor has had a chance to evaluate you and determine what care, if any, you will need. But we do offer you a consultation, so the doctor can determine the specifics of your case and estimate the costs before you incur any charges.
Do you take insurance?
We offer insurance benefits check when you come in for your consultation, so you’ll know exactly what your insurance covers before you incur any charges. Many patients find that our self pay options are even cheaper than their insurance co-pay because of the federal discount program we are part of.
I have X-rays/MRI, should I bring them with me?
Does chiropractic treatment require a referral from an MD?
No referral needed unless you have an HMO. But thats only if you go through insurance and our federal discount programs allow you to skip insurance.
What conditions does a chiropractor treat?
Chiropractors don’t cure anything. They detect and correct subluxations. Subluxations are when a bone moves out of alignment putting pressure on a nerve causing an ache, pain or dysfunction. Aches and pains include neck pain, migraines, back pain, upper back pain. Dysfunctions could include things like sinuses, allergies, ear infections, vertigo, high blood pressure, asthma, IBS, constipation, irregular menstrual cycles, prostate issues, and infertility.
What type of education and training do chiropractors have?
The chiropractic school that Dr. Lauren attended was 3.25 years and during this time she also took extra classes in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic. She received her bachelors degree prior to this doctorate program.
